Job Summary
Licensed Master Social Worker responsible for Independent Living Skills Training Services (ILST) for waiver participants. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive functional assessments of ADL/IADL, developing individualized ILST Detailed Plans with goals and milestones, and providing hands-on training in self-care, medication management, task completion, communication and interpersonal skills, mobility, transportation, money management, and household maintenance. Role involves assessing maladaptive behaviors, delivering problem-solving skills training, and creating a supportive learning environment. Services may be provided in participants’ homes or community settings to maximize learning outcomes; requires empathy, patience, and adaptability to individual needs.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Licensed Master Social Worker
- Knowledge of ADL and IADL assessment and training
