Job Summary
Licensed outpatient substance use disorder and mental health services provider in New Bedford, MA. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, individual/family/couples counseling, group facilitation (including SOAP program), treatment planning, progress notes, biopsychosocial assessments, and coordination of aftercare. Requires independent licensure (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT/LADC1) and a Master2s degree; position supports in-person and telehealth services, with onsite or remote scheduling. Spanish-speaking clinician preferred; schedule includes evenings and weekend hours at multiple sites in Southeastern Massachusetts; duties also include records management, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to federal and state regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2).
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field; clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work
- Independent licensure or eligibility (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT/LADC1)
- Minimum one year of supervised substance use and/or mental health disorder counseling experience preferred
- Ability to provide clinical services through in-person and telehealth modalities
- Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
- Successful completion of required trainings and continued education
- CPR certification and crisis de-escalation training
