Licensed Massage Therapist- Independent Contractor

Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic massages including Swedish, sports, lymphatic, and deep tissue services for member clients. Perform pre- and post-treatment consultations, answer service-related inquiries, and schedule follow-up appointments. Maintain a neat work area by restocking supplies and sanitizing equipment while ensuring courteous, prompt, and professional attention at all times. This 1099 independent contractor role requires a Florida-licensed massage therapist with experience in all modalities, deep-tissue techniques, and sports massage. Candidates must hold valid esthetician, first aid, CPR, and AED certifications and provide their own liability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Massage Therapy license
- Esthetician license
- Previous massage therapy experience
- Experience in deep-tissue and sports massage
- Experience in all modalities
- First aid certification
- CPR certification
- AED certification
- Ability to meet and perform the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to tolerate a variety of odors including massage oils and lotions
- Ability to provide own liability insurance
