Job Summary
Prepare the massage room and sanitize it between patients and at the end of each shift. Deliver personalized care to patients suffering from acute post-traumatic pain, building rapport and improving their overall quality of life. Communicate with patients, coworkers, and the ordering chiropractor regarding their specific injuries and needs. Cross-train as a PR/MA/CA to assist with other tasks when not working directly with massage patients. Arrive to work punctually and perform 50-minute massages for the entirety of a shift. Maintain physical stamina for prolonged periods of activity, including kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Massage Therapy license
- Experience working with musculoskeletal injuries
- Stamina to perform 50-minute massages, for the entirety of a shift
- Communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability
- Hand-eye coordination
- Physical strength and stamina – to comfortably massage patients for 50 minutes at a time
- Ability to massage for the entirety of a shift
