Job Summary
Licensed Massage Therapist to join as an Injury Prevention Specialist in a Part-Time, 1099 contractor role. Responsibilities include body mechanics coaching, risk assessment & solutions, hands-on deep tissue therapy, ergonomic assessments, and documenting progress. Work with client site management and safety teams to deliver ergonomic training, coaching employees on injury prevention and pain reduction strategies, and report weekly/monthly on progress. Therapy supplies provided; work settings may vary from industrial environments to private offices. Must have state licensure and relevant credentials, with strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and with clients to improve workplace health and safety.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant (Licensed in state)
- Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or related licensure within state
- Active professional liability insurance
- Drug screening and background check
- Documentation and reporting proficiency (Microsoft Office, DORNs systems)
- 2-4 years experience in injury prevention or hands-on therapy (ergonomics/industrial setting preferred)
- Ability to provide deep tissue therapy and body mechanics coaching
- Bilingual ability encouraged (e.g., Spanish/English)
