Job Summary
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join Headway's network as a virtual provider. You must be fully licensed (LMFT/LMFTS/LCMFT) at Master’s level or above, possess a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance, and be prepared to launch or grow a private practice by accepting insurance through Headway’s platform. Headway offers credentialing in multiple states (in as little as 30 days), built‐in compliance and scheduling tools, access to Medicare Advantage and Medicaid networks, and predictable bi-weekly payments. The role emphasizes taking insurance, expanding care access, and using Headway’s EHR and documentation templates, with ongoing CEU opportunities and Headway Academy resources. Note: Headway currently can’t support providers who aren’t fully licensed.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT/LMFTS/LCMFT) at Master’s level or above with valid license
- NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- ability to launch private practice or grow by accepting insurance
- willingness to credential for multiple states (credentialing support described)
