Job Summary
Provide individual and group psychotherapy within subacute/skilled nursing facilities for a geriatric population. Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for emotional and behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline). Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support patient care; maintain accurate clinical documentation in an EHR; monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Offer customizable full-time or part-time opportunities with a focus on work-life balance and clinical autonomy. In-person services at designated facilities with no admin tasks, supported by ongoing mentorship, CEU reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. Licensure in LMFT (or equivalent) is required; prior experience in geriatric/subacute settings is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state applying for
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with regulatory compliance
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities (up to 45 minutes)
- Capable of moving between patient rooms and offices within facilities
