Job Summary
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) needed to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in senior care facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group psychotherapy, diagnosing and treating emotional and behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline), developing evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating with facility staff and families, maintaining regulatory-compliant clinical documentation using our EHR, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment as needed. Role offers customizable full-time or part-time opportunities with flexible daytime hours, salary range $56,000-$90,000 plus uncapped FFS bonus, sign-on bonus up to $6,000 for full-time, and comprehensive benefits including malpractice insurance, 401(k) match, PTO/holidays, CEU reimbursement, and clinician-led training and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of practice
- English communication proficiency
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory documentation requirements
- Experience in geriatric or subacute care settings (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Vaccination/booster status may be required in some facilities
