Job Summary
Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in subacute and skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group psychotherapy, diagnosing and treating emotional and behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, cognitive decline), developing evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating with facility staff and families, maintaining compliant clinical documentation in an EHR, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed. Opportunities exist for full-time or part-time roles with a sign-on bonus for FT, uncapped FFS bonus opportunities, CEU reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. No administrative tasks are required, with support from clinical teams and mentorship to support growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state applying for
- LMFT license or eligibility in NJ/NY/PA/MD as applicable
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes
- Excellent communication in English
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory documentation
