Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in subacute and skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. The role offers customizable full-time or part-time schedules with 32- to 40-hour equivalents, a salary range of $56k–$90k with uncapped fee-for-service bonuses, sign-on bonuses up to $6k for full-time hires, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) match, malpractice insurance, and PTO/holidays. Key responsibilities include conducting individual and group psychotherapy, diagnosing and treating emotional and behavioral conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline), developing evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating with facility staff and families, maintaining accurate clinical documentation in an EHR, and monitoring patient progress. Requirements include active, unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of practice, proficient English communication, tech-enabled documentation capabilities, strong organizational skills, in-person service delivery at facilities (up to 45 minutes), and compliance with regulatory standards. Preferred qualifications include prior geriatric/subacute/long-term care experience, experience treating anxiety/depression/adjustment disorders, and openness to diverse licensure types.
