Job Summary
Senior Care Therapy is hiring Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in subacute and skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Conduct individual and group psychotherapy, assess and treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline, develop evidence-based treatment plans, collaborate with facility staff and families, maintain accurate clinical documentation using an EHR, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed. Flexible schedules with full-time or part-time options, 32- or 40-hour weeks, sign-on bonus up to $6,000 for FT, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with match), and CEU reimbursement. Requires active unrestricted LMFT license in the applying state, English proficiency, and ability to provide in-person services at facilities. Prior geriatric/subacute experience preferred. Currently hiring LMFTs in NJ, NY, PA, or MD.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in State applying for
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes
- Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day
- Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities
