Job Summary
Licensed LMFT to launch or expand a private practice on Headway’s platform, enabling in-network insurance participation, credentialing across multiple states, and access to built-in practice-management tools (EHR, scheduling, client messaging, documentation templates, CEUs) with bi-weekly payments and nationwide network access. This remote role requires active state licensure (LMFT/LCMFT), NPI, malpractice insurance, and ability to credential quickly to start accepting insurance with Headway. Headway can’t support professionals who aren’t fully licensed at this time.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Master’s level or above with LMFT, LMFTS, or LCMFT licensure (state-accepted)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- ability to launch or grow a private practice by taking insurance
- credentialing for multiple states in ~30 days
- in-network with plans including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid
- built-in compliance resources
- payments on a bi-weekly schedule
- Headway platform for scheduling, client messaging, documentation templates, and CEUs
