Job Summary
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) remote position through Headway. You provide LMFT-level clinical services, credentialing to accept insurance, and private-practice growth support within Headway’s network. The role emphasizes private-practice readiness with insurance credentialing, in-network connections (Medicare Advantage and Medicaid), ongoing compliance resources, built-in EHR and scheduling tools, and bi-weekly payments. Requires full licensure (LMFT/LMFTS/LCMFT), a valid NPI, malpractice insurance, and the ability to work with Headway’s nationwide insurance network. Headway notes you can start credentialing across multiple states and see covered clients sooner, with access to CEUs and Headway Academy for ongoing professional development. Location shown as Orlando, FL with remote work option.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with LMFT, LMFTS, or LCMFT licensure (state-by-state acceptance)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- ability to launch or grow a private practice
- ability to take insurance/networks (including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid)
- credentialing in multiple states (free in 30 days)
- compliance support for practice management
- built-in EHR features and scheduling
- bi-weekly payments
