Job Summary
Remote licensed mental health therapist position with BetterHelp; provide therapy to adults, couples, or teens; must hold an independent license (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LMHC/psychologist) and have 3+ years of experience; requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy; U.S. residency with a private workspace and reliable internet; autonomy over clinical decisions; flexible schedule with you setting your hours; benefits include health stipend, CEU courses, and a first client bonus; convenient weekly pay for sessions; insurance and cash-pay clients available; zero overhead and focus on client care. Note: interns and certain counselor types are not eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and can provide therapy without supervision
- 3+ years of mental health counseling experience
- U.S. residency, private workspace, reliable internet, and liability insurance

- Interns cannot be providers on BetterHelp at this time
- We are unable to accept substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches (unless they have an additional license as a mental health counselor)
