Job Summary
LMFT to launch or expand a private practice with Headway, enabling in-network insurance uptake and higher rates. Role emphasizes credentialing across multiple states (free and rapid), accepting insurance, working with Medicare Advantage/Medicaid networks, and using Headway’s built-in EHR, scheduling, secure messaging, and documentation templates. Responsibilities include building a private practice, credentialing for coverage with insurers, maintaining compliance, managing client care within Headway’s network, and leveraging bi-weekly payments and Headway Academy CEUs to grow professional goals.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Master’s level or above
- LMFT, LMFTS, or LCMFT licensure accepted on a state-by-state basis
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- ability to launch or grow private practice
- willingness to go in-network with insurance plans (including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid)
- credentialing in multiple states (free credentialing)
- ability to manage scheduling, client communications, and documentation in an EHR
- ability to receive bi-weekly payments
