Job Summary
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to launch or expand a private practice using Headway’s platform. The role requires being a fully-licensed LMFT at Master’s level or higher (LMFT, LMFTS, or LCMFT) with a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance. You will credential for free in multiple states (within about 30 days) and start seeing insured clients through Headway’s network, including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid. Headway provides built-in compliance, scheduling, secure messaging, end-to-end documentation templates, built-in assessments, and bi-weekly payments. You’ll access Headway Academy for CEUs and support in credentialing, ensuring eligibility to work with major insurance plans. Note: Headway currently cannot support mental health professionals who aren’t fully licensed.
Required Qualifications
- fully-licensed Marriage and Family therapist
- LMFT licensure (LMFT, LMFTS, or LCMFT) accepted state-by-state
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- ability to launch private practice or grow existing practice by taking insurance
- credentialing for free in multiple states within 30 days
- in-network with plans including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid
- built-in compliance with audit support and ongoing resources
- built-in EHR features (real-time scheduling, secure client messaging, end-to-end documentation templates)
- built-in assessments and more
- free continuing education (CEUs) via Headway Academy
- must be fully licensed (cannot support professionals not fully licensed)
- Headway platform for accepting insurance
