Job Summary
Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina providing telehealth therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Conduct telehealth sessions with clients located in North Carolina, perform clinical assessments, guide treatment planning, document progress notes, assess risk and escalation needs, and maintain client confidentiality across virtual systems. Utilize evidence-informed approaches to marriage and family therapy, with a focus on relationship strain, family conflict, and life adjustments. Requires Master’s degree and active NC LMFT license; full-time schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; private, confidential workspace; remote telehealth setup; compensation around $115,000–$120,000 annually with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field
- Active and unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina
- Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
- Comfortable delivering care through telehealth and using electronic health records
- Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy, and treatment planning
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, organized documentation, and reliable communication
- Must have a private workspace suitable for confidential virtual sessions
