Job Summary
Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist provides ongoing marriage, family, couples, and individual therapy via telehealth to clients in North Carolina. Responsibilities include meeting with clients virtually, gathering intake information to guide treatment, helping clients understand relational patterns, creating clear treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions, documenting sessions accurately and timely, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and parenting challenges, maintaining HIPAA-compliant, private remote sessions, using secure technology, and referring clients to additional services when needed. The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, an active NC LMFT license, telehealth delivery experience, and the ability to work within a secure telehealth platform with private workspace and professional boundaries.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field
- Active and unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina
- Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
- Comfortable delivering care through telehealth and using electronic health records
- Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy, and treatment planning
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, organized documentation, and reliable communication
- Must have a private workspace suitable for confidential virtual sessions
