Job Summary
Perform plumbing system installation, repair, troubleshooting, and alterations across METRO facilities; read and interpret plumbing and piping prints, schematics and diagrams; procure materials; service sanitary and storm systems; conduct preventive maintenance; utilize pressure testing equipment and tools; solder/braze/weld piping; notify supervision of malfunctions; assist other trades; maintain inventory; respond to emergencies and overtime as required; adhere to Safety Management System (SMS) and PTASP; provide customer service to METRO customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State of Texas Driver’s License
- Valid State of Texas Journeyman Plumber License
- Good working knowledge of plumbing codes
- Ability to complete/fill-out written reports, records and forms
- Able to maintain and/or obtain additional licensing or certifications as required
