Job Summary
Assemble field data, perform survey calculations, and prepare legal descriptions while managing operations of multiple field crews. Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work, prepare and monitor project budgets and billing, and handle client management. Drive business development for the discipline in the market and lead team members through continuous performance management, including setting expectations, goals, feedback, and coaching. Represent the company in meetings and conferences with clients and potential clients. Promote safe work practices for all survey staff and evaluate progress to recommend major changes. Requires 10+ years of surveying experience, a Professional Registered Land Surveyor license, and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations. Some night shift work and travel are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in surveying
- Professional Registered Land Surveyor
- A working knowledge of Federal, State and local jurisdiction surveying regulations
