Job Summary
The Optical Settlement Monitoring Specialist is responsible for conducting optical settlement monitoring related to Support of Excavation, demolition, and foundation work during construction. Key duties include preparing and clarifying readings issued by the field team, planning and coordinating project work for multiple assignments, overseeing settlement monitoring surveys, performing data calculations, managing boundary line locations, leading the survey control team for laser scanning activities, and implementing quality assurance protocols for surveying accuracy. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year as a Land Surveyor, hold a New York State license, and preferably a New Jersey State license, along with proficiency in Leica equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Land Surveyor
- New York State license is required
- New Jersey State license is preferred
- Proficient in all Leica monitoring station equipment models and applicable software
