Job Summary
Review and adjust field data utilizing multiple software platforms to create terrain models in Bentley OpenRoads. Perform boundary and right-of-way determinations through survey drafting, including acquisition maps and topographic surveys. Register terrestrial LiDAR data and extract pertinent information to the CADD platform. Occasionally work in the field to support office-based data reduction and mapping tasks. Requires 8+ years of land surveying experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads and Microstation. Popli Design Group is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm serving clients across New York State since 1982.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Land Surveyor
- 8+ years' experience in land surveying
- Valid Driver's license
- acceptable driving record
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Land Surveying
- Experience in Microstation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer
- Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures
- Experience with Trimble robotics and GNSS
- Experience with StarNet
- Experience with TBC
- Experience with terrestrial LiDAR
- Experience with sUAS
