Job Summary
Licensed Journeyman Electrician needed to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for residential solar installations. Responsibilities include assembling solar array racking, sealing roof penetrations, wiring and commissioning systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions, documenting job paperwork, and ensuring quality, safety, and customer interactions. Must read blueprints, have extensive electrical knowledge, use hand/power tools and diagnostic meters, and demonstrate strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Education includes high school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an apprenticeship with a valid electrician's license; solar or related experience preferred. Roles involve outdoor PV installation on rooftops and potential attic/crawl-space work; team-based with travel between sites.
