Job Summary
Perform all phases of electrical maintenance, repair, and installation for 480V and below systems, including building equipment and components. Execute preventative maintenance inspections, cleaning, and adjustments while using multimeters for diagnostic testing. Manage work order dispatching and recording via electronic systems, responding to routine or emergency assignments received verbally or in writing. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with the National Electric Code and maintain equipment safely to minimize downtime. Requires an Electrical Journeyman License and High School Diploma. Full-time, 1st or 2nd shift. HES provides optional daily pay and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in the proper use of multimeter
- Proficient with electrical diagnostic testing techniques on all electrical components
- Proficient with work order systems, work order (WO) dispatching and recording system
- Capable of receiving all work assignments given verbally or written instructions
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
- Ability to perform electrical maintenance, repair and installation of building electrical equipment and systems
- Ability to perform various electrical installations and repairs related to all electrical facilities and related equipment
- Ability to carry out Preventative Maintenance (PM) i.e., inspections, cleaning, and adjusting of all electrical equipment
- Ability to assure equipment is being maintained in a safe manner
- Ability to minimize down time through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance
- Ability to perform all duties involving 480V and below
- Available for 1st Shift or 2nd Shift
