Job Summary
Handle high-volume inbound calls (50–80/day) as the first point of contact for residents seeking help with renters insurance policies. Process policy servicing transactions including payments, billing questions, rewrites, and edits while navigating the website for basic troubleshooting. Deliver accurate documentation of every interaction in RealPage's proprietary CRM and evaluate payment options to achieve first-call resolution. Complete 52+ hours of pre-licensing education during work hours and obtain your Property & Casualty Insurance License within 30 days of hire. Work full-time in a structured contact center environment with flexible scheduling, including required Saturday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Insurance Agent I
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to type 30+ WPM
- Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
- Saturday shifts required (2–3 Saturdays per 4-week schedule period)
- Overtime may be required during peak business needs
- Preference for Central or Eastern time zones (varied shift options including 9–6, 10–7, 11–8, 12–9 CT)
