Job Summary
Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded insurance and financial products within a high-traffic branch, uncovering customer needs, generating new business, and closing sales to meet targets. Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and quote policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines. Build and maintain strong rapport with members, respond to inquiries with urgency, and actively engage in local community events to expand referral networks and identify cross-sell opportunities. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with willingness to work irregular hours for community events and some travel. Requires active state Property & Casualty and Life/Health insurance sales licenses. Join a team supporting approximately 14 million members across 14 states.
Required Qualifications
- Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
- Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 60 days of hire
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
- Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
- Willingness and ability to work irregular hours for community events
- Some travel to local events may be required
- Regular and reliable attendance is essential for the function of this job
