Job Summary
Licensed Inpatient Therapist for a unit-based caseload of adults and/or adolescents in a Santa Rosa hospital. Leads the patient’s treatment plan, conducts initial psychosocial assessments within 72 hours of admission, maintains clinical documentation and progress notes, facilitates psychoeducation and process groups, completes reports for Tarasoff and suspected abuse, conducts family sessions, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team while ensuring HIPAA/LPS compliance. Requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field, active state licensure (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC or PsyD), CPR certification, and ability to provide training and support to newer therapists; available to work Wednesday through Saturday. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or closely related field
- Two years of behavioral health experience and experience working with Severely Mentally Ill and Group Facilitation preferred
- Current Associate registration for LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in good standing with the California BBS, or PsyD in good standing with BOP
- Current active registration as a Clinical Supervisor or eligibility to complete requirements for CA BBS/BOP Clinical Supervisor within 90 days of hire as requested by Social Services Leadership
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required, or obtained within initial orientation period
- Verbal de-escalation and physical intervention program as approved by the CNO
