Job Summary
Licensed clinical social workers or psychologists to provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings within skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities include assessing residents with consent, developing and following treatment plans that are medically necessary, documenting treatment plans and psychotherapy sessions within established timelines, consulting with primary care physicians and facility staff, and maintaining professional communications with facility teams. Requires licensure in the state of practice (LISW/LCSW for MSW pathway or doctoral-level psychologist for psychology pathway), knowledge of assessment and psychotherapy techniques, DSM familiarity, HIPAA compliance, and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team. Emphasizes confidentiality, professional ethics, regulatory adherence, and continuous quality improvement in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (for Psychologists) or Master’s degree in social work (for LCSW) and current license as appropriate
- Knowledge of assessment and psychotherapy techniques
- DSM familiarity
- HIPAA compliance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgment
