Job Summary
Provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities as part of a multidisciplinary team; duties include assessing residents with consent, developing and following treatment plans, documenting psychotherapy sessions and updates, communicating with facility staff and primary care providers, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards, and maintaining confidentiality while coordinating with clinical supervisor when faced with unfamiliar requests; licensure requirements include doctoral-level psychologist license or MSW with current state license (LISW/LCSW) as applicable; strong knowledge of assessment and psychotherapy techniques, DSM, and documentation practices; demonstrated initiative, judgment, and collaboration within healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (for Psychologists) or Master’s degree in social work (LCSW) with current state license
- Licensed Psychologist or LCSW with active license in practicing state
- Knowledge of DSM, HIPAA, confidentiality, psychotherapy methods
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans, provide group/individual psychotherapy
- Ability to communicate effectively with facility staff and care team
- Ability to maintain professional and ethical standards during client care
