Job Summary
Licensed Independent Practitioner providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy in outpatient settings. Conducts interviews, testing, risk assessments, and formulates treatment plans; provides provisional diagnoses per DSM-V; collaborates with physicians, staff, families, and external agencies; handles billable services, case management, and education for clients and families; requires licensure in LCSW/LPC/LMFT and strong evidence-based clinical skills, bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Includes responsibilities for assessing behavioral health needs, making referrals, maintaining treatment records, and delivering culturally competent care across psychiatric outpatient services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling or related field
- Licenses: LCSW, LPC, LMFT (required)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) (Required)
- DSM-V knowledge
- Experience with individual, group, family therapy; risk assessments; treatment planning; referrals; documentation and billing
