Licensed HVAC Service Technician (Wed - Sun Shift)

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits. Perform routine preventative maintenance, conduct refrigerant level checks, and execute emergency repairs using industry-standard tools. Clearly explain system issues and repair options to homeowners while maintaining detailed work orders and service reports. Adhere to OSHA regulations and local building codes throughout all tasks. This role requires a State of Rhode Island HVAC License and EPA Universal Certification. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience and a valid driver's license. The position offers a Wednesday through Sunday shift with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
Required Qualifications
- MUST EITHER HAVE LICENSE IN RI - REFRIGERATION OR PIPEFITTER, or HAVE EPA UNIVERSAL FOR MA!
- State of Rhode Island HVAC License (required)
- EPA Type II or Universal Certification required
- Valid license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments, including attics and crawl spaces

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational HVAC training preferred
- 3+ years of HVAC experience, with leadership experience preferred
- NATE Certification preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to enhance the customer experience
- Proficient understanding of HVAC system components, refrigerants, wiring, and control systems
