Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical and functional abilities to devise individualized treatment plans. Utilize diverse therapeutic methods, such as exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment, to facilitate pain relief and enhance mobility. Regularly track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations and clinical judgment. Provide recommendations for assistive devices that facilitate patients' self-care and mobility, ensuring they receive proper fitting and instructions. Deliver training and education to patients, family members, and caregivers on physical therapy practices, focusing on both therapeutic exercises and the use of equipment. Remain abreast of developments in the field by participating in ongoing education, attending workshops, and engaging in professional societies. Work Monday through Friday with flexible hours to accommodate personal life and clinical demands.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Basic proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and administrative purposes
- Flexibility and agility to adapt treatment plans to meet patients' evolving needs
