Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex, modern CNG and diesel engines, and advanced electrical and hydraulic systems. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks such as PM and safety inspections. Complete required record keeping associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Review, plan and schedule work as required. Mentor apprentice technicians and provide training to complete their apprenticeship program. Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to company safety procedures. Ensure shop equipment and tools are kept in a safe operating condition. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman designation or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Provide own tools and willingness to acquire tools
- Red Seal is preferred but not required
