Job Summary
Answer inbound calls from customers exploring health insurance options and conduct comprehensive needs assessments using consultative sales techniques. Educate clients on available Medicare and Under 65 plans, recommend solutions based on individual healthcare needs, and guide conversations toward successful enrollment. Complete health plan enrollments while meeting sales and performance expectations, maintaining accuracy and compliance with HIPAA requirements. Build trust through clear, compassionate communication and navigate multiple systems efficiently in a fully remote environment. This seasonal opportunity includes weekly pay starting at $20–$21 per hour, instructor-led virtual training, and performance-based bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Active resident Health Insurance Producer License
- Ability to obtain reciprocal state health insurance licenses when required for your assigned program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Health Insurance Agent in a Telesales environment
- Strong consultative sales and customer service skills
- Confidence assuming the sale and guiding customers through the enrollment process
- Strong active listening, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance customer needs with sales and performance expectations
- Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working productively in a remote environment
- English-speaking
- English/Spanish bilingual
- 19" or larger monitor with a VGA or HDMI port and an appropriate cable
- USB wired mouse
- Reliable hardwired internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
- Ethernet cable
- Private, distraction-free workspace that protects member confidentiality and minimizes background noise
