Licensed Guard

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain professional image and customer service while patrolling buildings and perimeters, controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians/vehicles, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Duties include being on time in full uniform, greeting customers/visitors, staying updated on post orders, patrolling or remaining at a fixed post, monitoring cameras, knowing emergency procedures, completing daily activity and incident reports, recommending safety/loss-prevention improvements, and maintaining knowledge of life safety systems and equipment (e.g., fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors). ADA accommodations may be made; duties vary by post. Strong customer service, vigilance, team-work, urgency, and clear communications are expected.
