Job Summary
Provide security detail at Elwood/Joliet locations, maintaining a professional image and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and vehicle/pedestrian traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, monitoring cameras, and responding to alarms/incidents. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, complete required reports, and communicate with Security Supervisor about issues or changes. Must be honest, alert, disciplined, and able to work as part of a team with a sense of urgency.
Required Qualifications
- Provide security detail as outlined in post orders
- Maintain professional image and customer service
- Control entrances and movement of traffic
- Patrol buildings and perimeters
- Escort of material and personnel
- Inspect security and fire exposures
- Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
- Knowledge of life safety systems and CCTV
- Report new security issues to Security Supervisor
- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Knowledge of post orders and customer information distribution
