Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders at Elwood/Joliet; perform patrols of buildings and perimeters; control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic; escort materials and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; monitor cameras; respond to emergencies; complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports; maintain a professional image and deliver strong customer service; collaborate with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments; duties may vary by post and location; part-time schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in security or customer service preferred
- Patrol of buildings and perimeters
- Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic
- Escort of material and personnel
- Monitor cameras and emergency procedures
- Proactive willingness to report and document incidents
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
