Job Summary

Develop and update treatment plans for all clients while documenting results on a semi-annual basis. Administer therapeutic groups based on individual client needs, leading sessions and planning curricula approved by the Clinical Supervisor. Supervise client activities, ensuring safety and whereabouts during CAGS time, and utilize the Therapeutic Crisis Model for interventions when necessary. Provide required delivery hours, participate in daily client transportation, and attend staffings and supervision meetings. Report all incidents and document progress notes daily to the CAGS Clinical Supervisor. Maintain current licensure and complete all required training to support youth and families achieving resiliency.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum BA, BS or MA Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field
  • Valid Ohio LSW or LPC
  • Experience working with children, adolescents and their families
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency's insurance company
  • Approval by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle
  • Skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role
  • Ability to keep knowledge up to date
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
  • Proven effective leadership skills
  • Awareness, sensitivity and skills in working professionally with diverse individuals, groups and communities who represent various cultural and personal background and characteristics
  • Clear communication using verbal, nonverbal, and written skills in a professional context
  • Clear understanding and use of professional language
  • Adherence to professional values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and accountability
  • Application of ethical concepts within scope of work
  • Adherence to Agency policies and procedures

  • Current status of all training requirements
