Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to specific orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Utilize therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and functional training to facilitate recovery, while educating patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs. Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and other healthcare staff to optimize treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation using Electronic Medical Records systems. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful connections with patients and collaborative relationships with colleagues
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience working specifically within an outpatient rehabilitation environment and familiarity with outpatient treatment methodologies
- A strong background in developing and implementing effective patient-specific treatment plans
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
