Job Summary
Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for children, incorporating developmental assessments and examinations of physical capabilities. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals, while regularly reassessing clinical signs to adjust strategies. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical systems and educate families about recovery processes and interventions. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated services for infants through adolescents with orthopedic, neurological, or developmental challenges. Meet utilization goals and participate in business objectives to support facility success.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- An active and unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia, issued by the Board of Physical Therapy
- Familiarity with conducting both in-person and telehealth evaluations/treatments
- A strong commitment to working with a diverse patient population, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and inclusivity
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment to meet the changing needs of patients and their families
- Collaboration skills; the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
