Licensed Electrician

Job Summary
Install and service electrical systems, diagnose faults, read blueprints and electrical drawings, and perform upgrades or preventive maintenance. Train Electricians and Apprentices, comply with OSHA safety standards, run conduit and wire devices, troubleshoot generators and power distribution systems, and collaborate on estimating and scheduling. Proficient in interpreting mechanical, architectural and electrical drawings, and using diagnostic tools to make decisions under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Rhode Island State License is required
- OSHA 10 Certification is required
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with a general contractor and other trades present on job
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of at least 50 lbs. or more, climb ladders, climb stairs, stooping, and work in tight areas
