Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment while adhering to applicable codes and safety standards. Deliver exceptional customer service by educating homeowners on repair needs, explaining solution values, and providing estimates. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, materials, and interactions. Work effectively with team members in field environments across residential sites, navigating uneven surfaces and confined spaces. Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience
- Valid electrician certification or license as required by applicable local and state regulations
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements
- Ability to work in a variety of residential environments, including attics, crawl spaces, garages, and areas at heights
- Physical stamina and dexterity to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be eligible to obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) once hired
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test
