Job Summary
Licensed Electrician role in London, ON for Cargill's protein and salt division. Performs skilled electrical tasks to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and/or modify complex industrial equipment and processes; diagnoses malfunctions; conducts preventative and corrective maintenance; assists in installation and start-up of new equipment. Requires applying electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial control systems, PLCs, electrical construction, high voltage power, distribution and instrumentation; adheres to EHS, FSQR, HACCP/FDA requirements; operates within food/feed safety environments; reads blueprints and layout drawings; may involve manual and supervisory tasks with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
