Job Summary
Licensed Electrician role in London, ON focusing on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and modifying complex industrial electrical equipment and processes in a food/feed environment. Responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, preventative and corrective maintenance, startup and calibration of new equipment, operating under safety and regulatory standards (EHS/FSQR/HACCP/FDA), and reading electrical schematics, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation. Requires Ontario Red Seal or equivalent (309A/442A) and ability to work 3rd shift with overtime. Compensation: $44-$46/hr with full benefits and relocation not provided. This job is within Cargill’s protein and salt business and emphasizes safety, quality, and environmental compliance with SAP/CMMS knowledge as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
- Relocation assistance is not provided
