Job Summary
Licensed Electrician role in London, ON requiring possession of 309A or 442A (Red Seal) with duties to install, maintain, troubleshoot and modify complex industrial equipment and processes in a food/feed safety environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventative and corrective electrical maintenance, assisting in installation and start-up of new equipment, and applying knowledge of electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial control systems, and high voltage distribution. Tasks are performed with minimal supervision, emphasizing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (EHS, FSQR, HACCP/FDA). Requires ability to read blueprints, operate within SAP/CMMS knowledge preferred, and to work overtime across varied shifts. Must be able to work in Canada and be legally entitled to work for Cargill.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
