Job Summary
Licensed Electrician in London, ON with 309A/442A or Red Seal certification to perform skilled electrical tasks for industrial equipment, troubleshoot and repair, install new equipment, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Role requires understanding of electrical schematics, PLCs/industrial control systems, pneumatics and hydraulics, high voltage distribution, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include start-up/calibration of new equipment, adherence to EHS/FSQ regulations, and operating within food safety and regulatory requirements (HACCP/FDA). Shift: 3rd; compensation $44-$46/hr; benefits include health, dental, RRSP match, PTO, and on-site parking. Location: London, Ontario; Canadian work authorization and 18+ required; relocation not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Ability to read and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to operate in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE
