Job Summary
Licensed Electrician role in London, Ontario; perform skilled electrical tasks to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and/or modify complex industrial equipment and systems; diagnose malfunctions; perform preventative/corrective maintenance; assist in installation/start-up of new equipment; operate with minimal supervision while ensuring quality and safety; adhere to EHS/FSQR and HACCP/FDA requirements; read electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems; work in a food/feed facility environment and handle related safety and regulatory responsibilities; start times include 3rd shift (11:00 pm) with weekend/holiday overtime; requires Ontario Red Seal or 309A/442A certification and able to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
- Basic use of a computer and typing skills
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
