Job Summary
Licensed Electrician in London, ON needed to perform skilled electrical tasks to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify complex industrial equipment and systems. Role includes preventative and corrective maintenance, installation/start-up of new equipment, working with electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, high voltage power, and ensuring compliance with EHS/FSQR and HACCP/FDA in food/feed processes. 3rd shift (starting at 11:00 pm), full-time, $44.00-$46.00/hr. Must hold 309A or 442A/Red Seal and be able to work under varied conditions with overtime; English communication required. Relocation not provided. Local site: London, Ontario, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
- Basic use of a computer and typing skills
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Willingness to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation
- Experience with SAP or CMMS (preferred)
- Prior experience in production related work (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
