Job Summary
Licensed Electrician position in London, ON with third-shift hours (>11:00 pm) and hourly compensation of $44.00-$46.00. The role involves performing skilled electrical tasks to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify complex industrial equipment and processes in a food/farm-to-fork environment, diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, assisting with equipment installation/start-up, and ensuring compliance with EHS, FSQR, and HACCP requirements. The candidate will work with electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial control systems, PLCs, high-voltage distribution, instrumentation, and must hold Ontario 309A or 442A (or Red Seal) certification. The position requires the ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions, overtime, and proficient English communication. Benefits include health, dental, PTO, RRSP match, and on-site parking. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
- Ability to read blueprints/layout drawings
- Ability to work overtime including weekends/holidays
- Basic use of a computer and typing skills
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Relates to job-specific electrical maintenance and safety practices
- Experience with MRO (Maintenance Repair Ops) and/or MRP (Material Requirement Planning) is preferred
