Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for solar installations. Read blueprints, use hand and power tools, operate test meters and diagnostic equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, assemble solar array components, seal roof penetrations, and document job paperwork. Communicate with customers professionally, ensure crew safety and quality, and support MSP rebuilds and upgrades as part of PV installations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors on rooftops, attics, and crawl spaces; color vision required; apprenticeship completed with valid electrician's license or enrollment in a trade apprenticeship.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed electrician with formal apprenticeship and valid license
- Color vision for wiring
- 21+ years old with clean MVR
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Solar experience preferred
